This is a novelty idea of a card and cake priced at £13.50. It’s one of those unique items that might be appreciated if you don’t live close by, someone abroad or during lockdown periods. A way to let them know you are thinking of them and want them to celebrate in style. Everything you need to make this cake is enclosed in packaging, there is also a card blank to fill in with your own message. There is a cardboard bowl and spoon, just follow the guidelines inside to make the cake, the only things you need is to add is water and use a microwave. I had to cook mine for 80secs rather than the 60 secs advised, but after 60 they say to do an extra 10secs at a time. All the little extra to at make a special cake are included, frosting, sprinkles and a candle with a celebration topper. I actually thought the taste of the cake was lovely and was vanilla with coloured flecks inside. My mum laughed as I sang a little happy birthday to myself with an added even though it not my birthday now. I would love to receive this as a gift in the post.

The concept is great. It's fun & BC made! Chocolate definitely better than vanilla but they were perfect for our son's family Birthday trip. Everything you need just pop in the microwave.

Great idea of a cake on a card. Everything that you need is in the little box as well as a card.

My son loved the InstaCake card. He did make the cake a few days after his birthday. Since, I have bought another for his wife. They live in another state so a nice reminder of home.
