This is a lovely cake and card set which would have been ideal during the first lockdown, and is a great idea for a birthday for someone who lives far away.? The set comes with everything you need. You have the cake mix, just add water, there is a measuring spoon, and you mix in the same box you bake in. Even the stirring and eating spoon is provided.? You mix the cake and put in the microwave for 60 seconds, a further 10 seconds maybe. After its cooled, add the icing mix, pour over the top, then add the sprinkles. You can leave the icing to set, or eat it soft like a pudding. Either way it tastes great! There is even a candle! ITs a lovely gift - it also comes with its own packaging to post.

I was skeptical but so pleasantly surprised when I tested these out. They are fluffy, the frosting is delicious, and it is a perfect portion size.

This is a novelty idea of a card and cake priced at £13.50. It’s one of those unique items that might be appreciated if you don’t live close by, someone abroad or during lockdown periods. A way to let them know you are thinking of them and want them to celebrate in style. Everything you need to make this cake is enclosed in packaging, there is also a card blank to fill in with your own message. There is a cardboard bowl and spoon, just follow the guidelines inside to make the cake, the only things you need is to add is water and use a microwave. I had to cook mine for 80secs rather than the 60 secs advised, but after 60 they say to do an extra 10secs at a time. All the little extra to at make a special cake are included, frosting, sprinkles and a candle with a celebration topper. I actually thought the taste of the cake was lovely and was vanilla with coloured flecks inside. My mum laughed as I sang a little happy birthday to myself with an added even though it not my birthday now. I would love to receive this as a gift in the post.

The concept is great. It's fun & BC made! Chocolate definitely better than vanilla but they were perfect for our son's family Birthday trip. Everything you need just pop in the microwave.
